Intended Use

The vNAT® Transfer Tube contains 2 ml of vNAT® reagent, which lyses cells, releases nucleic acids, and preserves them. The vNAT® reagent also inactivates pathogens within 1 minute of contact with the clinical specimen. When clinical specimens from patients suspected of infection are transferred into the vNAT® Transfer Tube, the liquid inside the tube can be directly used in Real-Time PCR (qPCR) reactions without the need for nucleic acid extraction.

vNAT® effectively preserves samples up to 72 hours at RT or 3 months at 2-8 °C.

vNAT® reagent in the tube lyses cells and releases nucleic acids in 1 minute of contact.

Samples in vNAT® are ready-to-use for qPCR without nucleic acid extraction.

The tube allows easy liquid pipetting using a standard tip.
