It serves as an aid to diagnosis by qualitatively detecting the presence of the "Giardia lamblia, Entamoeba histolytica, Cryptosporidium spp., Dientamoeba fragilis, Blastocystis hominis, and Cyclospora cayetanensis” in "rectal swab and stool" samples by real-time PCR.
