Bio-Speedy® Ruminant Respiratory Tract Infections RT-qPCR Panel

The Bio-Speedy® Ruminant Respiratory Tract Infections RT-qPCR Panel is an in vitro diagnostic device designed for laboratory testing by professionals. This panel uses real-time PCR technology to qualitatively detect the presence of various pathogens associated with respiratory tract diseases in ruminant animals. The panel identifies pathogens such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (M. tuberculosis/M. bovis), Bibersteinia trehalosi, Mycoplasma spp., Mesomycoplasma spp., Histophilus somni, Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica, Trueperella pyogenes, Ureaplasma diversum, Pestivirus, Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR), Bovine rhinitis virus (BRV), Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV), Bovine parainfluenza type 3, Bovine Coronavirus, Bovine herpesvirus, Bovine adenovirus, Bovine influenza D virus, Ovine Pulmonary Adenomatosis (OPA) Retrovirus type D, and Maedi-Visna Virus (MVV) (Lentivirus). Respiratory swabs and tissue samples from animals suspected of infection are collected by specialists and analyzed using this RT-qPCR panel. These tests aid in the diagnosis of respiratory tract diseases.
