Bio-Speedy® Ruminant Abortion RT-qPCR Panel

The Bio-Speedy® Ruminant Abortion RT-qPCR Panel is an in vitro diagnostic device designed for laboratory testing by professionals. This panel uses real-time PCR technology to qualitatively detect the presence of the following pathogens: Histophilus somni, Francisella tularensis, Salmonella spp., Brucella spp., Campylobacter spp., Listeria spp., pathogenic Leptospira, Coxiella burnetii, Chlamydia abortus, Trueperella pyogenes, Leptospira spp., Akabane virus, Bluetongue virus, Rift Valley Fever, Schmallenberg virus, Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR), Pestivirus (including Bovine Viral Diarrhea (BVD) virus), Border Disease virus/BVD, Neospora caninum, Tritrichomonas foetus, and Toxoplasma gondii. Swabs (cloacal, coanal, or tracheal) and tissue samples (trachea, lung, cecal tonsils) from animals suspected of infection are collected by specialists and analyzed using this RT-qPCR panel. These tests aid in identifying causes of abortion in ruminants.
