Bio-Speedy® Canine Blood Infections Panel

The Bio-Speedy® Canine Blood Infections RT-qPCR Panel is an in vitro diagnostic device designed for laboratory testing by professionals. This panel utilizes real-time PCR technology to qualitatively detect the presence of various pathogens causing blood infections in dogs. It identifies pathogens such as Anaplasma spp., Ehrlichia spp., Rickettsia spp., Mycoplasma spp., Borrelia burgdorferi, Bartonella spp., Escherichia coli, pathogenic Leptospira spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Babesia spp., Hepatozoon spp., Leishmania spp., and Dirofilaria immitis. Blood samples from dogs suspected of infection are collected by specialists and analyzed using this RT-qPCR panel. These tests assist in diagnosing a range of blood infections.
