It serves as an aid to diagnosis by qualitatively detecting the presence of the "Herpes Simplex Virus 1, Herpes Simplex Virus 2, Mumps Virus, Enterovirus, Varicella-Zoster Virus" in "Cerebrospinal Fluid" samples by real-time PCR. These samples are collected from individuals suspected of infection, as determined by their healthcare provider.
