Bioeksen R&D Technologies is a biotechnology company that develops and manufactures molecular diagnostic solutions. Our company was founded in Türkiye in 2014 by Canan Ketre and Mustafa Kolukırık from the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department of Istanbul Technical University, with the R&D innovation support of KOSGEB.
We stand out with 32 R&D projects and 180 products using reverse transcription and qPCR/RT-qPCR technologies. Unlike traditional tests, our panel tests provide comprehensive and rapid diagnosis by detecting multiple pathogens simultaneously. Operating under ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 quality management systems, our manufacturing facilitie in Istanbul can produce 2 million tests per day with class 8 clean room infrastructure. Bioeksen has World Health Organization and FDA approvals and is ranked in the top 5% of 580 biotechnology companies. Our products quickly and reliably detect pathogens in food, water, animal and human samples, while being environmentally friendly and producing less waste.
During the pandemic, we revolutionised the qPCR testing process with innovative products such as the vNAT Transfer Tube and Sigmoida software. In the process, we became the leading exporter in the Turkish medical device industry, selling 200 million tests to 85 countries. As Bioeksen, we aim to contribute to global health with our innovative, fast and reliable systems. Having successfully passed quality control processes such as QCMD and Neqas, Bioeksen R&D Technologies further strengthens our portfolio with a rate-fixed kit format compatible with various thermal cyclers, including vCAP qPCR and the small induction-based qPCR powered by Sigmoida Cycler.
