Sepsis qPCR MX-30 Panel

The "Bio-Speedy® Sepsis qPCR MX-30 Panel" is a multiplexed real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) test intended for the qualitative detection of multiple bacterial and fungal nucleic acids in "Whole Blood, Positive Blood Culture" obtained from individuals suspected to be infected. The Bio-Speedy® Sepsis qPCR MX-30 Panel functions as an aid to the diagnosis of Sepsis. The results of this test should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis, treatment, or patient management decisions. The following bacterial and fungal sepsis agents and antimicrobial resistance genes can be detected and differentiated with the Bio-Speedy® Sepsis qPCR MX-30: "Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas spp., VanA-Vancomycin resistance, Candida krusei, Candida glabrata, VanB-Vancomycin resistance, Staphylococcus spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, Haemophilus influenzae, Klebsiella oxytoca, Candida parapsilosis, OXA-48-Carbapenem resistance, KPC-Carbapenem resistance, NDM-Carbapenem resistance, VIM-Carbapenem resistance, IMP-Carbapenem resistance, Listeria monocytogenes, Enterococcus faecalis, mecA/mecC-Methicillin resistance, Candida tropicalis, Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, Enterobacteriaceae spp., Streptococcus spp., Enterococcus faecium, Escherichia coli, Neisseria meningitidis, Streptococcus pneumoniae.
